You will find there are a lot of great shore excursions offered on the ship as well as off the ship. Turn right and you will find bars, souvenir shops, lots of tour operators and a great boulevard around the Cabo Marina. Turn left when you exit the pier and you will find an Arts and Crafts market. When you walk off the pier you will notice you are in bar and shopping paradise.

Pick up a free Cabo map at the tourist information booth which will come in handy for multiple reasons. On the tender pier you will find an ATM, some small vendors and a tourist information point. This pier is located right at the main boulevard of Cabo San Lucas. There are several tender piers that can be occupied by different cruise lines like Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Crystal Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Oceania cruises.Īll of them will utilise the main tender platform in Cabo San Lucas which they call the Main Dock.
There is a special tender dock available for cruise passengers in Cabo San Lucas. There is a very large change you will be able to spot some in the water while you sail to shore in the tender boat. Make sure to keep an eye out for sea lions and pelicans in a meanwhile. The tender ride takes about 5 to 10 minutes. From here they will tender you to shore with their life boats. Therefore cruise ships will drop anchor in the Cabo San Lucas bay. Cabo San Lucas does not have a cruise dock available large enough to facilitate cruise ships.
